Sebastien Ogier, WRC champion for the second time

French driver Sebastien Ogier and co-driver Julien Ingrassia Frenchman's already time champions of the World Rally. They have done after winning the Rally Catalunya this weekend ahead of his teammate and championship rival Finn Jari-Matti Latvala. The fellow Finn Mikko Hirvonen completed the podium.

Ogier & Ingrassia 2014 WRC championsOgier equal to other myths of rallying with 2 world championships as Carlos Sainz, Markus Gronholm, Miki Biasion o Walter Rohrl. Will it stop at this brand? Probably not, considering it is a young driver, fast, experienced, and your car and team are the best by far for now. If the Volkswagen team manages to maintain this superiority with Ogier Volkswagen Polo WRC will have it “affordable” to increase the number of titles and approaching 9 compatriot Sebastien Loeb, the best driver in the history of the sport.

The numbers say it all, the Rally of Spain is the seventh victory of the season for the Gallic duo, twelve seventh far. We'll see if it wins the remaining evidence in Wales in a few weeks.

And as for the team, the 3 Volkswagen drivers occupied and have secured the 3 top positions of the ranking of the world championship with Jari-Matti Latvala third second and Andreas Mikkelsen. Other teams have much work to do if they want to be close to the Volkswagen 2015, to keep your 3 pairs of pilots / navigators. We'll see what others are doing and pilots involved with each team.

Congratulations to Sebastien Ogier & Julien Ingrassia!
