Unfortunately today we remember one of the most spectacular drivers in the world motorcycling already does 10 years which left us in a fatal traffic accident, Japanese Norifumi “Norick” Abe.
Abe was the pilot “put the sauce” Grilled since its debut in the Japanese Grand Prix (of his house) in 1994 after receiving an invitation. A deserved invitation because in previous years had won the 250 and 500 cc of his country being the youngest driver to do so.
Performance surprised everyone coming to fight to win the race, but it fell when there were 3 laps to reach goal. That made him invited by Kenny Roberts to ride in other 2 more races that season and earn a spot in Yamaha for World Cup 95.
Thereafter, Norick was a regular at the World Cup and also went through the Superbike giving show and giving excitement to the weekend. A truck made an illegal maneuver in his country and ended his life, but it will always be remembered, Thank you Norick!
