We have data from car sales in Europe last 2014 in our power, and nothing changes at the top of the standings. The Volkswagen Golf is the most sold in the old continent for the 7th consecutive year car.

Volkswagen Golf 7In 2014, 11 in 100 Sales were Volkswagen Golf. Not bad for the number of brands and models that customers have to choose. The fact that Europeans appreciate the quality, and it shows, since Volkswagen sold 1,6 million vehicles in our continent of its approximately 10 million global sales, nothing more and nothing less than 700.000 cars than the second automaker.

So everything indicates that Volkswagen and Golf, will continue to prevail in 2015 and probably in the years since its advantage is large. We'll see if any make and model manage to unseat kings. To achieve should do almost a miracle, but you never know.Ventas de automóviles en Europa 2014

After Volkswagen, Ford and Opel / Vauxhall complete the podium. And Renault, Peugeot, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Citroen and Fiat complete the top 10.

Total sales in Europe brushed 13 million vehicles, exceeding the 2013 in 600.000 units. Growth is not bad, as it is at least positive. Nothing comparable with China for example, wearing a brutal pace despite its small recessions occasionally.

Ventas de modelos en Europa 2014As for the models sold, we present the table that represents the top 10 with King Golf in head. Rounding out the podium the Ford Fiesta and Renault Clio. Number 4 is another Volkswagen, Polo. And completed the top 10 Opel / Vauxhall Corsa, Ford Focus, Peugeot 208, Skoda Octavia, Nissan Qashqai, and the Audi A3 / S3 / RS3.

As you can see, the distance between the Golf and Fiesta is very large with a 210.000 Car. So everything indicates that we will have to Golf on top for a while.

Note that the 13 million vehicles sold in 2014, two thirds are sold between 4 countries most potent: Germany (3,037 million), United Kingdom (2,476 million), France (1,796) and Italy (1,370).

The remaining third is sold in other 25 European countries. For Spain, sales reached 868.000 units, far from the 4 powers, numbers but slowly recovering.
